Sydney Olympic Park is a vibrant township with a growing population, boasting all the conveniences of a central location.
The Park is centrally located to the business hubs of Parramatta, Rhodes, North Ryde and the Sydney CBD, ensuring that residents and visitors have enviable access to numerous public transport options.
Sydney Olympic Park is located approximately 17 kilometres (30 minute drive) from the Sydney CBD.
The Park is located approximately 25 kilometres (35 - 40 minute drive) from the Sydney International and Domestic Airport.
Public transport is available, including:
- Rail - Sydney Olympic Park station is located within an easy 2min walk from Australia Towers apartments. Central Station is 29mins by train and Parramatta Station is 26 mins by train.
- Bus - Numerous bus Theme pass through Sydney Olympic Park. Connecting bus Theme to Strathfield Station and Parramatta Station operate on regular weekday and weekend timetables.
- Ferry - The Sydney Ferry operates along the Parramatta River to the Sydney CBD and Parramatta. The Sydney Ferry service provides a traffic free corridor to the city and beyond. A bus connection from the Ferry terminal to Sydney Olympic Park station operates on weekdays and weekends.
Australia - passport and visa information
If you are planning to visit Australia for a business event such as a conference, meeting or seminar, you need to apply for a business visitor visa. The passport which you hold determines whether you can apply online, or if you need to lodge a paper-based application. They will provide a personalised service to our conference delegates, and utilise the same online registration system for accommodation that you use to register your attendance at the conference, ensuring that your registration process is simple and easy. Accommodation will be secured at competitive and flexible rates at a range of hotels and apartments close to the venue within Sydney Olympic Park. Accommodation bookings will open when registration bookings open.
Airport and transportation
Visitors are strongly advised to make bookings early to obtain best fares. Sydney Airport is a modern facility approximately 35 -40 minute drive away from the Sydney Olympic Park. Registration cancellation or substitution is only accepted by sending written notification (email acceptable) to the Conference Coordinator (email@example.com). Cancellations made before Friday 19 September 2014 will be given a refund, less a A$200 administration charge. After Friday 19 September 2014 the registration for the conference is binding and no refunds will be made. However, another person may be substituted for the registered delegate. The new delegate will be acknowledged in writing. By submitting your registration you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.
A list of all delegates will be made available to all conference participants. The list will provide delegate's name, organisation, state/country. If you do not wish your contact details to be included in the delegate list, please write to ARRB's information officer on firstname.lastname@example.org. Helmets for Kids school program donation ARRB is committed to the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, which is targeting the more than 1.3 million deaths that occur every year. About 60% of deaths occur in Asia, with many involving motorcycles. Motorcyles are a primary form of transport in the region for children as well as for adults. You have the option when registering to donate $15 to support the Helmets for Kids school program as an addition to your registration cost. Since 2000 the program has distributed more than 500,000 certified tropical helmets to schools throughout Asia.
